Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon

Ingredients
  1. 2 salmon fillets
  2. 1 1/2 tsp cedar salmon dry rub seasoning
  3. 1 tsp lemon juice
  4. 1 tsp olive oil
  5. 1/2 tsp salt, kosher
  6. 1/4 tsp black pepper, coarse grind
  7. 1/2 tsp parsley, chopped, fresh
  8. 1/4 tsp garlic, fresh minced
  9. 1/2 lemon squeezed
  10. 1 Tbsp butter, melted
Preparation
  1. Two to twelve hours prior to cooking salmon steaks, place on wax paper. Sprinkle both sides of salmon flesh evenly with a dry rub of lemon pepper, garlic, paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Press the seasoning into the salmon flesh.
  2. Refrigerate salmon steaks uncovered until your ready to eat.
Cooking Procedure
  1. 1. Place salmon pieces, onto the center of the cedar plank. Meanwhile, toss vegetables in a bowl with lemon juice, olive oil, parsley, garlic salt and pepper.
  2. 2. Transfer vegetables to the plank and place around the salmon.
  3. 3. Place cedar plank on your BBQ over indirect Med High heat for 8-10 minutes. Turn the salmon over, place back on the BBQ and cook for an additional 8 - 10 minutes or until salmon begins to flake.
  4. 4. Remove cedar plank from grill and serve.
