Ingredients
- 5 lbs Beef Brisket
- 1 Bottle Beer, such as a pilsner
- 1 ½ Tablespoons Paprika
- 2 ½ Tablespoons Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 ½ Tablespoon Cumin
- 1 ½ Teaspoons Chipotle Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
- 1 ½ Teaspoons Cayenne
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic Powder
Instructions
- 1.Place brisket in a Tupper wear container with and let refrigerate for 24 hours.
- 2.After 24 hours remove brisket from the beer and pat dry with paper towels. Then mix remaining ingredients. Rub brisket with rub and wrap in a few layers of plastic wrap and then tin foil. 3.Refrigerate for 6 hours.
- 4.Preheat grill or smoker to 225°F. You will be cooking your brisket with an indirect heat method. (We recommend apple wood for best smoking)
- 5.Unwrap brisket and place in a roasting pan and cook for 1 ½ hours per pound.
- 6.Remove after the thickest part of your brisket reaches an internal temperature of 175- 185°F.
- 7.Let rest for 30 to 40 minutes and Enjoy!
