Big and Bold Smoked Beef Brisket

Ingredients
  1. 5 lbs Beef Brisket
  2. 1 Bottle Beer, such as a pilsner
  3. 1 ½ Tablespoons Paprika
  4. 2 ½ Tablespoons Salt
  5. 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  6. 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  7. 1 ½ Tablespoon Cumin
  8. 1 ½ Teaspoons Chipotle Powder
  9. 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  10. 1 ½ Teaspoons Cayenne
  11. 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion Flakes
  12. 1 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic Powder
Instructions
  1. 1.Place brisket in a Tupper wear container with and let refrigerate for 24 hours.
  2. 2.After 24 hours remove brisket from the beer and pat dry with paper towels. Then mix remaining ingredients. Rub brisket with rub and wrap in a few layers of plastic wrap and then tin foil. 3.Refrigerate for 6 hours.
  3. 4.Preheat grill or smoker to 225°F. You will be cooking your brisket with an indirect heat method. (We recommend apple wood for best smoking)
  4. 5.Unwrap brisket and place in a roasting pan and cook for 1 ½ hours per pound.
  5. 6.Remove after the thickest part of your brisket reaches an internal temperature of 175- 185°F.
  6. 7.Let rest for 30 to 40 minutes and Enjoy!
