Strawberry Salad with Poppyseeds

Ingredients
  1. 6 cups baby spinach and torn romain lettuce, mixed (alternatively baby greens)
  2. 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  3. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  4. 1/4 cup milk
  5. 2 tbsp white vinegar
  6. 2 tbsp poppyseeds
  7. 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  8. 1/2 cup Grand Marnier liqueur
  9. 1 small red onion sliced
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry spinach and lettuce. Place in a salad bowl and chill until ready to serve.
  2. To make the dressing, combine mayonnaise, sugar, milk, vinegar and poppyseed sugar in a blender or with a whisk until smooth. Chill 1 hour.
  3. Marinate strawberries in liquor 1 hour.
  4. Drain berries, mix with greens. Pour dressing over th salad to Tate or serve separately. Top with onion to garnish.
